Mom is taking this over for me…..she is the one who has spent more time doing the fun things around here….before we bought the company.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail is one mile from us.

This is a great place to hike and I have a $6.00 book I have found that has the best driving trips, the best hiking trails, and the best Water Fall Tours all in one book.  They are all close and none more than one hour from here.

I recommend the Ridge Runners Zip Line just about 13 miles from us.  Call them at (828-421-8119),  Tell them Paddle Inn Sent you.

The closest Horseback Riding is Nantahala Village Riding Stables 828-488-9649.  I have been there are it is nice. They have many more in the area and you can find them on the internet.

There are several Fish Farms in the area.  Cooper Creek Trout Farm is 17.5 miles from us. Their number is 828-488-2500.

The following gem mines are only 2 miles from us.  Nantahala River Gem Mine 828-488-6345 is the closest Gem Mining.

Casino in Cherokee  is 24 miles and Casino is Murphy is 35 miles away.  I (MOM) am against gambling.   Not a good place to go unless you want to give (throw) your money away.
